Card packaging

When receiving your card, please check the packaging for damages. We deliver cards in the original packaging of Nova Poshta, which is a plastic bag.

And a card has modern packaging from PrivatBank:

  • a cellophane envelope with a flap and adhesive base.
  • the envelope is sealed, with the sticker containing a package number;
  • the envelope is paper, inside it contains a leaflet with a place for a card and a drop of glue or a double-sided tape.

If, while receiving a card, you notice that the packaging is different or it is damaged, do not activate the card.

The damages include:

  • the sticker on the cellophane bag is either torn or missing;
  • the envelope containing the card is torn/bent;
  • the cellophane bag with a sticker is open/torn;
  • no cellophane bag;
  • any other damages.

If you find damages, contact us by calling 3700 or via the “Help Online” chat and inform us on the matter. We’ll record your complaint and forward it to the responsible department. But you will have to re-order the card in Privat24.

You’ve unpacked the card, and now you need to activate it.

We send you the push notification with the appropriate link in Privat24 for quick activation.

What kind of cards do you deliver?

We deliver new-patterned instant cards with chip and magnetic stripe, non-personalized, without CVV.

How can I cancel a card delivery request?

By calling 3700 or contacting the “Help Online” chat, you can cancel the card delivery if the request has not yet been submitted for processing to Nova Poshta.

How to refuse from receiving a shipment?

You can refuse from the shipment in the Nova Poshta application or via the Nova Poshta hotline.

Can I indicate a different phone number if the order is within Ukraine?

No, you can make orders only with the financial number of the Ukrainian telecommunications.

  • If your financial phone number is not Ukrainian, you can change it to any number having the +380 code.
  • If the financial number does not match the phone number indicated in the Nova Poshta application, (as to this number Nova Poshta will send you push notifications containing the parcel number) – in the Nova Poshta application you can add the parcel number and change the recipient: «Parcel Management”, “Other recipient” section (entrust receipt to another person). The service is provided for free.

How to change a delivery branch or a parcel-locker?

When you receive push notification from Nova Poshta with the parcel number, via the Nova Poshta app you can forward the parcel (“Parcel Management” menu, “Forwarding” section). Forwarding within the city from a branch/parcel-locker to a branch/parcel-locker is for free, from a branch/parcel-locker to a customer address is charged (as additionally provided by the delivery operator Nova Poshta LLC. The price will be indicated in the app).

Can I order the delivery again if the card was activated incorrectly?

Yes, if over two hours have passed since the activation.

If over 2 hours have passed since you’ve activated the previous card, and you cannot order the card delivery again, then you should call 3700 or contact the “Help Online” chat.

How can I check the card delivery status?

In the Privat24 app - “All cards” menu – Select card for reissue – Settings – Order card – Card delivery in Ukraine/International – Card delivery status”, you will find:

  • date and number of the shipment;
  • delivery date and address.

Which phone number should be indicated in the case of the international card delivery?

You can make a request for the international delivery if you have a phone number of a country where the card is delivered. For example: Poland +48…, Czech Republic +420….

If you have no active phone number of the country where the card is delivered, the delivery cannot be guaranteed, and the sender can cancel the request.

What if I don’t have the phone number of the country where the card is delivered?

The delivery request will be canceled.

How to indicate the delivery address correctly?

The delivery address is indicated in the language of a country where the card is delivered, with non-standard Latin letters. For example:

Why can errors occur when creating an international delivery?

Check if an email is indicated in Latin characters and in a valid domain.

The service can also be overloaded, so just either try again later or contact the support by calling 3700 or via the “Help Online” chat.

Why do I receive a notification that I’ve received the card, although I have not received it?

Presumably, the card has been delivered contactless, as a courier did not find you at the delivery address. Check the mailbox and ask about your shipment at the reception.

If the shipment has been delivered by “Ukrposhta”, contact the national postal operator, find it by the postal code indicated in the request.

If you can’t find your shipment, call 3700 or contact the “Help Online” chat.

For how long will my shipment be kept at a branch of a national postal operator in a receiving country?
